Greg Johnson, CEO

Summary of experience
Greg has 35 years’ corporate experience during which time he built and lead global businesses that deliver high quality service based solutions across a broad range of industries, including for the last 15 years the Financial Services Sector.
Most recently Greg worked with Aon Australia holding the position Manager – Strategic Distribution. In this role Greg was responsible for reviewing Aons Affinity, SME and Micro businesses recommending and delivering changes enabling growth whilst delivering superior client service.
Prior to this role Greg held CEO and senior executive roles in Australia, the UK and the US with companies such as Aon , The Corporate Services Group, Accenture, TeleTech and Bankers Trust. He also established and successfully built a business during this time.
Through these roles Greg proved himself to be a seasoned, versatile and energetic executive successfully leading, developing and growing businesses in rapidly changing highly competitive environments.
Tony Button, Chief Adjusting Officer

Summary of experience
Tony is Cerno's Chief Adjusting Officer and he has 22 years of experience as a loss adjuster. Tony joined Freemans Sydney in 1997 and was a board member of Freemans Australia for many years. Tony manages major commercial property and construction claims, specialising in engineering claims and claims involving industrial plant and machinery. Tony previously worked across various Army units in equipment management before being transferred to Malaysia as an advisor to the Malaysian Ministry of Defence.
Ian Simpson, General Manager Strategy & Innovation

Summary of experience
Ian is an inaugural director of Cerno (Formerly MYI Freemans) and heads up the Strategy & Innovation portfolio.
Prior to the MYI Freemans merger, Ian was the Managing Director of McLarens Young Australia and has been part of the group for in excess of 21 years.
Ian joined the MYI National Management Team in 2002, serving as Corporate Services Manager, then General Manager MYI Australia prior to the MD appointment.
As an Adjuster, Ian specialised in Business Interruption and other financial sector related losses, including fidelity guarantee. He also has a background in Information Technology and established a national technology unit for Insurance claims.
Andrew Thomas, National Technical Leader

BSc (Hons) (Portsmouth), C.Eng, FCLA, DBA,FAICD
Summary of experience
Andrew is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Chartered Loss Adjuster with over 23 years experience in Major and Complex Losses, specialising in Contract Works and Contractor’s Liability claims. He has handled many politically sensitive claims across Australia including some of the largest construction risks losses in the Country.
Martyn Wicht, General Manager Sales and Marketing

Summary of experience
Martyn has been with Cerno and it predecessor companies for nearly 15 years and is a Chartered Loss Adjuster. Martyn has gained significant experience in natural disasters and losses arising from political riots, having attended to a number of catastrophe losses throughout Australia and the Pacific. Over the past eight years Martyn has managed some of Cerno's largest national commercial and personal lines accounts and is now responsible for managing the company's sales and marketing functions.
Angus Kench, General Manager Expertise and Assessing Services
Qualifications
B.Bus, Exec Cert Ins, ANZIIF (Fellow), CIP, AFAIM
Summary of experience
Angus has over twenty five years of commercial experience in business operations, insurance, marketing, sales, finance and HR. He has owned and managed various businesses including most recently a specialist loss adjusting, investigation and claims management business. He has directly handled and supervised many complex insurance claims and has a wide industry following based on his attention to detail and client focused solutions.
Tony Perkins, Chief Financial Officer
Tony has nearly 11 experience years in the Insurance Industry as Chief Financial Officer of Lumley General Insurance and Wesfarmers General Insurance. Prior to joining Cerno, he worked for Goodman Fielder as the ERP Director and was responsible for the roll out of SAP across the Australian and New Zealand business.
He has worked in a variety of businesses including Forestry, Retailing, Manufacturing Banking and Insurance. He has been involved in several large acquisitions and the subsequent integration into the existing business
Tony is CFO and has responsibility for IT and HR.
Patricia Douglas, General Manager Claims Operations
Patricia has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience at executive level covering a range of skills and multi-disciplines including technical, personnel and systems management, high level financial control, marketing, business & systems development, change and process management and critical business analysis.
Patricia introduces great passion and energy into every role she undertakes and, combined with her uniquely extensive range of skills and track record, she is a critical part of our future.
Nick Herford, General Manager Motor
Nick is a Trade Qualified Panel Beater with an extensive background not only in General Assessing but also in General Motor, Heavy Motor and Machinery Assessing.
Prior to joining Cerno in 2001, Nick was part of the AAMI Assessment Team in Sydney.
With Nick's experience he is well positioned to lead our Motor Division into the future.
